Swine or no swine.. recent activity.

I’ve been fairly quiet since I started my summer break. There’s some not very exciting detail behind the unusual hush on my part.

First of all, I was pretty exhausted. The last day of term I came home early, feeling fairly rough, high-ish temp, dizzy, nauseous. Swine flu, yes it pretty much was. I rested and didnt feel much better for several days, in fact whilst the worst was over within five days… I felt fairly rough for a good week. I missed out on getting to go and shoot some brilliant stuff at the E4 Udderbelly.

Just as I was getting the spring back in my step my Dad fell ill. I’m not saying any more than that, as it’s nobody’s business, but the wonders of private healthcare saw him in an operating theatre fairly quickly. These things tend to shake up family life.

So whilst all this has been going on, being at my computer or on twitter is one of the furthest things from my mind. I did manage to get out and shoot another film for What’s On Stage, open auditions for the Thriller – Live World Tour. That’s pretty much ready to go online, more news on that and my outing to see the show for my birthday soon

So now I’m getting myself back to normal business. I’m still tired – no time to rest, plus illness tends to knock it out of you. But hopefully the rest of my summer will be a blissful mix of work, rest and play.
