Intriguing Spiderman Musical footage

Just spotted this video feature that was broadcast in the States on 60 minutes. This production has intrigued me from day one and I have to say that this great little piece only adds to that. As always with theatre, people are always too quick to write off a show – especially one as big, grand and ambitious as this one – after one preview. What most people fail to understand is that previews are not finished polished shows, so it annoys me that people blast something that’s clearly a work in progress. Having said that, surely the producers of this show should be offering reduced price seats for this time..? ANYWAY.. I’m tempted enough to want to head back to NY, if only for the spectacle they’re trying to achieve (I love a bit of smoke, mirrors and kaboom!). Here’s the vid:
